About Lost Quarter Farms

Experience world-class hospitality and hunting excursions in Missouri!

Lost Quarter Farms has been one of Missouri's premier hunting lodges since 1929. It has been changed, remodeled and rebuilt over the years, yet the rich history of our wooded and secluded location can be felt more than ever today. We are located just 2 3/4 miles west of Mendon, Missouri, and as you cross the bridge that leads you to Lost Quarter Farms you'll enter a world of beauty, hospitality and some of the finest deer hunting and waterfowl hunting in Missouri and the nation.

How far of a trip is it to Lost Quarter Farms for Kansas City deer hunting enthusiasts?

We are bordered by the Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge on one side and by Yellow Creek on three sides. And though we are indeed secluded in a way the world has known about this wonderful location for a long time. In fact our lodge was featured as far back as 1936 in the feature film The Voice of Bugle Ann starring the legendary Lionel Barrymore and Maureen O'Sullivan. Our focus is on providing a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere away from the stresses of modern life, and on offering accommodations that will allow you to relax in comfort between hunts. We offer:

  • White tail deer hunting
  • Duck hunting
  • Geese hunting
  • Turkey hunting
  • Air conditioned and electronically heated lodge

At Lost Quarter Farms we believe in the concept of Midwest hospitality. It's the little things, like a home-cooked meal after a long day of hunting, that make a difference. We also believe in keeping things affordable for those wishing to plan a hunting trip here, and do so with rates that are more than competitive.

We're fortunate to be located in a place that offers incredible hunting year in and year out. But it's the overall experience we offer that keeps visitors coming from all over the nation and the world. We hope you'll see fit to join us at Lost Quarter Farms for your next hunting excursion, because we'd love to have you.
